Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon women's soccer team hosted Sweet Briar on a windy and rainy Family Weekend at Nunnally Field. The Yellow Jackets boasted their way to an 8-0 win over the Vixens.

- R-MC opened the scoring early, when freshman defender Anna Turk (Radford, Va./Radford) netted the first goal of her young career just over seven minutes into the game.
- The Yellow Jackets opened the flood gates, scoring four goals within the next 10 minutes of play as Hannah Lovinger (Bridgewater, Va./Turner Ashby), Emily Smith (Roanoke, Va./Northside), Ally Spangler (Daleville, Va./Lord Botetort) and Lauren Brokaw (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen) all took part in extending the lead.
- Senior midfielder Lilly Tyler (Colonial Heights, Va./Colonial Heights) pushed the R-MC lead to six before halftime, cashing in on her only shot of the day.
- The Vixens held Randolph-Macon scoreless for the first 24 minutes of the second half until Jordan Foley (Charlottesville, Va./Monticello) broke the drought on a pass from Emily Smith.
- Junior defender Charlotte Bradshaw (Boydton, Va./Bluestone) netted the final goal of the afternoon in the 73rd minute, thanks to an assist from Gracie Magaha (Clear Spring, Md./Clear Spring).

- The Yellow Jackets outshot the Vixens 40-3 overall and 26-1 on goal. Both shot totals are season highs for the team.
- Each goal scored was the first of the season for the player. Emily Smith also tallied her first assist of the season.
- Breckin Armes-Johns (Jacksonville Beach, Fla./Stanton College Prep) also added an assist on the afternoon, which was also her first assist of the season.
- Goalkeeper Erin Morris (Manchester, N.H./Bishop Guertin) moves to 3-0 on the season after registering a save in her win tonight.
