Box Score 2 VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Randolph Macon Women's Volleyball made it a perfect three-for-three at the Virginia Wesleyan Tournament, topping Millsaps in a five-set thriller to open the morning, while the final contest saw the Yellow Jackets handle Southern Virginia with a three-set sweep.

How It Happened (Match 1 vs. Millsaps):
- After trailing 18-17 in the first set, Randolph-Macon ran off six-straight point to take control of the stanza and eventually take a 1-0 lead. Two Millsaps attack errors gave R-MC the one-set advantage after a 24-24 tie.
- The second set was the strongest of the five for Randolph-Macon, as Head Coach Bill Rogers' team cruised to the 25-18 set win to take a two-set advantage.
- Millsaps would not go quietly, as the Majors battled back to take the next two sets and force a decisive fifth set.
- The fifth set proved to be all Randolph-Macon as six of the first seven points in the set went the way of R-MC en route to a 15-9 match-clinching stanza.
Inside The Numbers (Match 1 vs. Millsaps):
- Grace Parker (Andover, N.J./Pope John XXIII) led the way for the Yellow Jackets with 15 kills, tying her season-high, while Leslie Curry (Mechanicsville, Va./Hanover) tallied 20 digs, a season-high, to to lead the way on the defensive side.
- Megan Bost (Angier, N.C./West Johnson) had her best performance of the early season, recording 14 kills.
- Maddie DeCandido (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial) had a strong showing as well for R-MC, amassing 17 digs.
How It Happened (Match 2 vs. Southern Virginia):
- Randolph-Macon used the momentum from the thrilling start of the day to cruise past Southern Virginia and finish the Virginia Wesleyan Tournament a perfect 3-0.
- The first set was the only set where both sides reached the 20-point mark, as the Yellow Jackets only got better throughout the match.
- The Yellow Jackets laid claim to the first point of the set in each of the three stanzas.
Inside The Numbers (Match 2 vs. Southern Virginia):
- Parker reached double-digit kills for the fourth time in as many matches to start the season for R-MC.
- Milly Mach (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) had her strongest showing of her freshman campaign, recording 19 assists in just her fourth career match.
