How it Happened:

Just two and a half minutes later, junior forward Emma Landis (Annandale, NJ/North Hunterdon) made it a three-goal lead for R-MC.
  • The next two goals came less than two minutes apart in the third quarter as Lynn Giesken took a pass from Landis to add to the lead, and then Landis struck again with her second goal to extend the lead to five.
  • The fourth quarter was more of the same. R-MC dominated, leading to a goal in the middle of the frame by sophomore forward Mia Kuhnle (Yorktown, Va./Tabb) off a pass from senior midfielder Summer Kujawa (Hampton, Va./Kecoughton) as her second assist of the game.
  • Junior forward Raegan Williams (Chesapeake, Va./Western Branch) scored on a last second penalty corner off an assist from sophomore forward Mackenzie Wunderlich (Midlothian, Va./Trinity Episcopal School) as the final tally of the game.
