- Johns Hopkins broke through in the 54th minute via a Katie Sullivan goal that was unassisted.
- The Blue Jays doubled their lead just two minutes later as Sullivan found the back of the net for the second time in the contest, this time from a Kaleigh Gallagher ball.
- The third and final goal came in the 84th minute from the foot of Maria Romo-Nichols.
