Box Score LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Randolph-Macon women's volleyball team looked strong in a Thursday night affair, as Head Coach Bill Roger's side cruised to a 3-0 win over Old Dominion Athletic Conference foe Randolph on the road.

How It Happened:
- The opening set saw Randolph-Macon take control early as Maddy DeCandido (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial) found success with her serve. R-MC used a 6-0 run deep in the set to pull away and take the 1-0 lead.
- Randolph-Macon continued the success from the opening set to the second stanza, as the Yellow Jackets never trailed in the frame. The Yellow Jackets found 20 of the first 24 combined points as Megan Bost (Angier, N.C./West Johnston) shined.
- R-MC started well in the third and final set as well, jumping out to an early 9-3 lead after a Gracyn Draney (Forest, Va./Jefferson Forest) kill. The Yellow Jackets were able to finish the set to complete the three-set sweep.
Inside The Numbers:
- Grace Parker (Andover, N.J./Pope John XXIII) led the way for the Yellow Jackets with 20 kills yet again, making her 16 for 16 in matches with double-digit kills to start the season. Leslie Currie (Mechanicsville, Va./Hanover) tallied 16 digs to lead the way on the defensive side. DeCandido looked strong defensively as well, recording 12 digs of her own.
- Milly Mach (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) and Kaitlyn Kaplan (Norfolk, Va./Norfolk Collegiate) both shined at the net as well, as the pair of setters recorded a combined 34 assists in just three sets.
