Box Score BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Randolph-Macon field hockey team competed in a midweek matchup at Bridgewater College to begin ODAC play. The Eagles used an early goal to push their way to victory.

How it Happened:
- The Eagles wasted no time getting on the board, as just over a minute into the matchup, they lit up the scoreboard to begin the scoring.
- Six minutes later, Bridgewater struck again with another goal, which proved to be the final one of the game. Both goals came off the stick of Emily Tyler.
- R-MC used six shots in the middle two quarters to put pressure on the Eagles but came up short as Bridgewater kept them scoreless.
Inside the Numbers:
- Goalkeeper Kelsey Seiler (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) tallied four saves on the evening, making key saves late to keep R-MC within striking distance.
- Lynn Giesken (Yorktown, Va./Tabb) led the way with two shots on goal, applying pressure on the Eagles defense.
