LYNCHBURG, Va. – Riley Russ' goal in the 25th minute found the top left corner of the net to prove to be the difference in a weekday road match up on the road. The goal came from a beautiful delivery came from the foot of Sammie Hoefs for her first assist of the campaign.

• Riley Russ (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) as been on a tear lately for Randolph-Macon, shining in the 25th minute with the lone goal as Sammie Hoefs (New Market, Md./Linganore) found her first helper of the season.
• Keeper Erin Morris (Manchester, N.H. / Bishop Guertin) recorded five saves across the full 90 minutes in the in the winning effort for her third win, and clean sheet, on the year in net.

By The Numbers:

• Four of the five Erin Morris saves came in the second half to stifle the Randolph effort and earn her third clean sheet. 
• The Yellow Jackets outshot Randolph 13-10, including a 5-4 advantage on shots that ended up on target.
