Box Score 2 BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Randolph Macon Women's Volleyball earned a huge 3-0 sweep of Old Dominion Athletic Conference foe Bridgewater before falling to a one-loss Juniata side, 3-0, to close out the afternoon.

How It Happened (Match 1 vs. Bridgewater):
- Randolph-Macon ran off eight of the first 10 points to take control of the first set and lay claim to 1-0 lead early.
- The second set went the way of Randolph-Macon as well, as the Yellow Jackets carried the momentum and closed the second set with the final five points to see out a two-set lead.
- Bridgewater looked to extend the match in the third set, laying claim to the first three points but Randolph-Macon would not go away. The Yellow Jackets recorded seven of the next nine to take control and see the sweep.
Inside The Numbers (Match 1 vs. Bridgewater):
- Grace Parker (Andover, N.J./Pope John XXIII) led the way for the Yellow Jackets with 18 kills and 11 digs, enough for a double-double while Leslie Currie (Mechanicsville, Va./Hanover) tallied 9 digs to shine on the defensive side.
- Bailey Johnson (Chesapeake, Va./Western Branch) recorded 10 kills on just 23 swings to impress with a .304 hitting percentage, standing as the highest in the match.
How It Happened (Match 2 vs. Juniata):
- The Eagles did not drop a set in the two matches today, as the first set in the final tilt of the day saw Juniata hold Randolph-Macon to just 16 winners in the set while swinging at a .464 clip.
- It again was Juniata that recorded the final point in the second set as the Yellow Jackets cut it to just four late in the set, but the Eagles used a strong offensive output to claim the commanding two-set lead.
- Randoph-Macon would find themselves leading late in the third set, but the Eagles would close the stanza out on a 8-2 run.
Inside The Numbers (Match 2 vs. Juniata):
- It was Parker that led the way yet again for Randolph-Macon, recording a team-high nine kills, while Megan Bost (Angier, N.C./West Johnson) was not far behind at seven.
- Currie had a strong showing on the defensive side of the net for the Yellow Jackets, amassing 15 digs in just three sets.
