ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon women's soccer team used a dominate performance to roll past Ferrum, 3-0, in front of the home fans at Nunnally Field. The tilt was featured as part of the 2022 Homecoming celebration as well as Senior Day for Head Coach Jay Howell's side.

How it Happened:

• It was Lillian Holt (Roanoke, Va./Patrick Henry) that broke the 0-0 tie in the 30th minute, as a delivery from Riley Russ lead to Holt's first goal of the campaign.
• Ariel Farmer (Chesterfield, Va./Clover Hill) continued the pressure on the Panther defense, as she was able to unlock the Ferrum back line and double the Randolph-Macon advantage in the 40th minute for her first goal in a R-MC uniform.
• Less than a minute following Farmer's goal, Alexa Stohr (Fredricksburg, Va./Massaponax) found the back of the net for the first goal of her collegiate career. Stohr's strike would round out the Yellow Jacket scoring sheet, seeing Randolph-Macon finish with the 3-0 win.

By The Numbers:

• The Yellow Jackets called on two different keepers throughout the match, as Abby Cook (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen) got the start and was credited with the result before Zoe Long (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) saw the final 45 minutes in the net for R-MC. 
• The Yellow Jackets outshot Ferrum 33-3, including an 20-0 advantage in the first stanza.
• Russ' helper makes her the second Yellow Jacket to record multiple assists this season, joining Leah Conrad (Bristow, Va./Saint John Paul The Great) and her four.
