With the victory over Bridgewater, R-MC extended its program record for home winning streak in Crenshaw Gym at 40. It is the longest current streak in Division III. R-MC previously won 32 straight in Crenshaw Gym from 1982-85. The overall program record for home winning streak is 50, from 1961-66.

Buzz Anthony now owns the R-MC program record with 217 career steals. He has 673 career assists, seven away from the ODAC record of 680 held by Tim Crawford of EMU (1977-81).
Last Time Out
Buzz Anthony and Miles Mallory each scored 20 points, and Mallory recorded a double-double with 10 rebounds, as R-MC won 77-72 at Washington & Lee.
How it Happened:
After a Daniel Mbangue layup WLU had the next two buckets before Josh Talbert hit a pair of jumpers to put R-MC up 6-4. After WLU tied it at 6-6, Anthony hit a pair of triples, DaQuan Morris hit a trey and Talbert had a fastbreak layup to make up an 11-5 run as R-MC took a 17-11 lead with 14:35 left in the first half. The Generals had a 7-2 spurt to pull within one at 19-18 before Mallory had a pair of baskets in an 8-3 run as R-MC led 27-21 with 8:25 left. After a pair of free throws by WLU, David Funderburg hit a foul shot and a follow, Anthony made two from the charity stripe and Morris sank another triple to extend the lead to 12 at 35-23 with 4:25 left. The Generals closed the half on an 8-3 run and trailed 38-31 at the break. Anthony hit three-pointers on R-MC's first two possessions of the second half as the Yellow Jackets went up 44-31. After a trey by the Generals, Mallory made two layups to give R-MC a 48-34 lead with 16:50 remaining. After a free throw by WLU, Mallory hit a jumper and two foul shots to make it 52-37 with 14:33 left. The Yellow Jackets led 63-48 before a 13-4 spurt by the Generals made it a six-point game before a layup by Talbert extended the lead to eight at 69-61 with 2:35 left. After another bucket by WLU cut the deficit to six, Mallory took a long pass for a layup to make it 73-65 with 2:15 left. Following a basket by the Generals, Anthony hit a jumper, Morris made a layup and Mallory hit a pair of free throws to make it 77-65 with 44 seconds left. WLU scored the final seven points of the game as it finished 77-72.
Last Meeting
Buzz Anthony had game highs with 10 rebounds and 15 points as R-MC posted an 81-48 victory at Randolph. The Wildcats jumped out to a quick 12-4 lead in the game's first five minutes before a layup and three-pointer by Ian Robertson capped a 13-0 run as the Yellow Jackets took a 17-12 lead with 11:05 left in the first half. A pair of layups by Anthony gave R-MC a 27-16 edge with just over seven minutes left in the half. The Yellow Jackets ended the period on a 7-1 spurt, as Robertson scored inside, Corey Bays buried a trey and Anthony hit a jumper in the lane just before the buzzer as R-MC took a 43-27 lead at intermission. Anthony had 13 points and seven boards, while Robertson added nine points. The Yellow Jackets shot 64% from the floor (18-28), while holding the Wildcats to 35% from the floor (11-31) and 13% on treys (2-15). The second half started with a pair of three-pointers by Korey Turner and a long jumper by Miles Mallory as R-MC took its largest lead at 51-27 with 16:20 left in the second period. Another trey by Turner with 7:10 remaining gave the Yellow Jackets a 27-point advantage at 63-36. After a triple by Randolph, Kent Kilgroe had a follow, while Josh Talbert had a three-point play and a layup to give the visitors a 70-39 lead with 5:30 left. Talbert ended the game with a trey and a layup as R-MC matched its largest lead in the final score of 81-48. Anthony recorded his fifth career double-double. This was the first with points and rebounds. The previous four were with points and assists. Anthony matched his career high with 10 boards. Talbert finished with 14 points, tallying 12 in the second half. Turner had a season-high 12 points and Robertson added a dozen.

He had 20 points and nine assists in 28 minutes in a home win over Bridgewater. Anthony had 15 points and nine assists in a victory at Hampden-Sydney. He had 20 points in a road win at Washington and Lee.
