Box Score FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Sophomore goalkeeper Zoe Long (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) had three saves in a scoreless second half as the Randolph-Macon women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at Mary Washington on Wednesday afternoon.

How it Happened:
- Freshman Riley Russ (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) had a shot on goal in the third minute as the Yellow Jackets tried to get that early lead. Senior Tyria Smalls (Fredericksburg, Va./Massaponax) had a pair of shots for R-MC near the midway point of the first half. Smalls added a shot in the 41st minute that went high. The Eagles connected on a goal in the 43rd minute as the home team took a 1-0 advantage. The Yellow Jackets had a 4-2 edge in shots, while both teams had one shot on goal. UMW had four corners compared to one by R-MC.
- The Eagles had a 6-0 advantage on shots in the second half. Three of those shots were on goal, all saved by Long.
