Box Score (ASHLAND, Va.) – The Randolph-Macon field hockey opened the season with a defensive clinic, but unfortunately it ended in heartbreak as it fell to McDaniel in the final seconds of the first overtime period. The teams played a scoreless game until the Green Terror found the back of the cage with 38 seconds left.
The Basics
Score: Randolph-Macon 0, McDaniel 1 (OT)
Venue: Nunnally Field
Records: Randolph-Macon 0-1, McDaniel 2-0
How It Happened:

Inside The Numbers:
- Randolph-Macon outshot McDaniel 9-6 overall in the game.
- McDaniel held a slight 5-4 advantage in penalty corners after late chances with one in the fourth and two in overtime.
