Box Score LYNCHBURG, Va. – Junior Madison Warlick (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) had 11 kills and sophomore Grace Parker (Andover, N.J./Pope John XXIII) recorded 10 as the Randolph-Macon women's volleyball team lost at Lynchburg on Wednesday evening.

How It Happened
- Warlick had a kill and junior Macguire Gubba (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) delivered a service ace as the Yellow Jackets jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead. The Hornets would take a 7-4 advantage before three points by R-MC tied it at 7-7. LYN scored four straight points to go up 11-7. Parker had two aces in a 6-0 run as the Yellow Jackets took a 13-11 advantage. The Hornets tied it at 13-13 before Warlick had two kills in a 5-0 spurt as R-MC took an 18-13 lead. The margin grew to as large as six before a kill by junior Danielle LaRosa (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) clinched the first game for the Yellow Jackets.
- LYN would score the first four points of Game 2 to take control early. R-MC would close with two at 10-8 before five straight points by the Hornets made it 15-8. LYN would claim a 25-17 win in the second game.
- The Yellow Jackets recorded the first point in Game 3 before the Hornets scored the next five. R-MC would battle back and tie the score at 10-10. The Yellow Jackets trailed by one before five straight by LYN gave the home team a 17-11 lead. The Hornets would register a 25-18 win in the third game.
- LYN jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the fourth game. R-MC eventually pulled within two at 14-12 before four straight by the Hornets made it 18-12. The Yellow Jackets trailed 21-13 before a 9-3 spurt pulled them within two at 24-22. But LYN recorded the final point to secure the match.

- Warlick had 36 total attacks, while junior Sydney Koch (Raleigh, N.C./Sanderson) had 24 and Parker added 23.
- Freshman Brooke Young (Saint Leonard, Md./Calvert) led R-MC with 12 assists, while Gubba garnered 11 and senior Emma Young (Highland Park, Ill./Highland Park) added 10.
- Senior Mackenzie Loewe (Leonardtown, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) topped the team with 13 digs.
- Freshman Megan Bost (Angier, N.C./West Johnston) had three total blocks, of which two were solo.
