Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon women's soccer team took Roanoke into overtime on Senior Day, as the Maroons connected on a penalty kick in the 94th minute in a 1-0 ODAC victory on Sunday afternoon.

How it Happened:
- The Maroons had the first two shots of the match, but the Yellow Jackets had the first shot on goal as junior Nicole Czyzewski (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) had her shot saved in the 14th minute. Sophomore Lauren Ott (Midlothian, Va./James River) added a shot in the 31st minute and junior Maddie Bauman (Smithfield, Va./Smithfield) had a shot in the 38th minute, but the first half would end scoreless. RC had eight shots and two on goal. Both were saved by freshman Abby Cook (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen).
- R-MC have six shots in the second half and its final two were on goal. Both came from Ott, one in the 71st minute and one in the 88th minute. RC had nine second-half shots, including two on goal. Freshman Zoe Long (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) made a pair of saves. But both teams were scoreless after 90 minutes.
- Ott had the first shot of overtime. R-MC was whistled for a foul in the 94th minute. Lucy Perry made the penalty kick to give the Maroons the victory.
By The Numbers:
- R-MC finished with 10 shots. Ott had four, while Czyzewski and senior Casey Kent (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) both had two.
- R-MC was whistled for 8 fouls, while RC committed 10. No Yellow Jacket was called for more than one foul.
- The Yellow Jackets recorded their second shutout of the season and their second consecutive shutout.
