Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – Senior Danielle LaRosa (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) had 11 kills and four block assists to lead the Randolph-Macon women's volleyball team to a sweep of Randolph in ODAC action on Wednesday evening.

How It Happened
- Senior Macguire Gubba (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) has a service ace to start Game 1 for the Yellow Jackets. The Wildcats scored three of the next four points before R-MC registered the next eight points to go up 10-3. That run included a pair of service aces by sophomore Charli Dietz (Radford, Va./Radford) and two kills by junior Grace Parker (Andover, N.J./Pope John XXIII). RC closed to within three at 13-10 before a kill by LaRosa ended the spurt. Senior Sydney Koch (Raleigh, N.C./Sanderson) had consecutive kills in a 6-0 run as the lead ballooned to 19-10. After a point by the visitors, the Yellow Jackets scored six of the final eight points to win the first game 25-13. Senior Madison Warlick (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) had two kills in that final spurt. LaRosa had four kills in Game 1, while Gubba contributed 12 assists. Warlick and sophomore Leslie Currie (Mechanicsville, Va./Hanover) had three digs each.
- Junior Gracyn Draney (Forest, Va./Jefferson Forest) had a kill to spark an 8-1 start for the Yellow Jackets in the second game. Draney had another kill and a block to cap the initial rally. RC scored six of the next eight points to close within three at 10-7. Koch had a block and two kills in a 6-0 run as R-MC pushed its advantage to 16-7. The Yellow Jackets led 17-10 before scoring eight of the final 11 points to take a 25-13 win in Game 2. LaRosa had a block and a kill on the final two points for R-MC.
- Kills by Koch, LaRosa and sophomore Megan Bost (Angier, N.C./West Johnston) highlighted a 9-2 start in Game 3 for the Yellow Jackets. The Wildcats tallied three straight before a block by LaRosa and Bost halted the run. Two kills by LaRosa helped the home team build a 14-6 advantage. A kill by sophomore Ashlyn Knott (Clarksville, Va./Bluestone) gave R-MC a 19-10 lead. Two kills by Bost and single kills sophomore Bailey Johnson (Chesapeake, Va./Western Branch) and LaRosa helped the Yellow Jackets close on a 6-1 run to win the third game 25-14.

- LaRosa hit .643 in the match. Koch had seven kills and 13 total attacks with no errors. Draney and Parker both finished with five kills.
- Knott had three kills in three attempts for a hit percentage of 1.000.
- Gubba finished with 28 assists, while freshman Laura Walton (Urbanna, Va./Middlesex) added four.
- Dietz finished with three service aces and Currie had two.
