Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – Senior forward Gabby Nelson (Clover, Va./Halifax County) had her 22nd overall goal and her eighth game-winning goal, the second-highest total in the nation, and junior midfielder Casey Kent (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) netted a pair of scores, as the 15th-ranked Randolph-Macon women's soccer team moved to 17-0-0 with a 5-0 ODAC victory over Eastern Mennonite on a soggy Wednesday evening.

How it Happened:
- The Yellow Jackets started the scoring in the sixth minute as junior midfielder McKenna Maier (Henrico, Va./Deep Run) fed Nelson, who sent the ball inside the left post to give the Yellow Jackets a 1-0 lead. In the 13th minute, sophomore midfielder Maddie Bauman (Smithfield, Va./Smithfield) went a corner kick from the left side that was headed in by senior defender Haley Silva (Henrico, Va./Deep Run) to make it 2-0. Kent sent a ball between two defenders and past the keeper in the 22nd minute as R-MC led 3-0 at the half. The Yellow Jackets had a 23-1 advantage on shots. Senior goalkeeper Christina Newman (Virginia Beach, Va./Kempsville) recorded one save in the first 45 minutes.
- Kent added a second goal in the 73rd minute, tucking it inside the right post on a pass from sophomore defender Jules Huechan (Tallahassee, Fla./Maclay School) as the lead grew to 4-0. Six minutes later, senior defender Madi Powell (Wake Forest, N.C./Cosby) put a 25-yard free kick into the top right corner to make the final 5-0.

- R-MC had a 36-6 advantage on shots. Nelson and Kent both had eight shots, including two on goal. Sophomore forward Nichole Czyzewski (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) had five shots, all on goal.
- Nelson is in the Top 10 nationally with 22 goals and 50 points.
- Sophomore Edye Carr (Clinton, N.C./Clinton) had a pair of saves in the second half.
For The Record:
- The Yellow Jackets remain in first place in the ODAC with a 9-0 conference record and 27 points. Washington and Lee is second with an 8-0-1 conference mark and 25 points.
- R-MC added to its program record for most wins to start a season at 17. The Yellow Jackets also set a program mark for most consecutive wins in a single season.
