LYNCHBURG, Va. - Sophomore Lexi Mallory (Charlottesville, Va./Miller School) had six shots, including two shots on goal, as the Randolph-Macon women's soccer team fell 1-0 at Randolph Wednesday evening in ODAC action.

The Yellow Jackets (4-6-3, 3-3-1 ODAC) outshot the Wildcats (4-8-1, 4-4-0) 20-12, including 12-4 in the second half. Both teams had four shots on goal.

The match was scoreless in the first half. Randolph broke through with the game's lone goal in the 65th minute.

Freshman Hannah Harris (Gloucester, Va./Gloucester) had four shots and two shots on goal, while junior Kasey Martino (Centreville, Va./Centreville) added four shots as well.

Freshman Christina Newman (Virginia Beach, Va./Kempsville) had three saves for the Yellow Jackets.

Randolph-Macon returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 22 for an 11 a.m. ODAC contest against Emory & Henry. It will be Homecoming and Senior Day for the Yellow Jackets.
