VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Senior Elizabeth Blanco (Ashburn, Va./Stone Bridge) registered seven saves as the Randolph-Macon women's soccer team was edged by Virginia Wesleyan 1-0 Tuesday evening in ODAC action.

Blanco had four saves in a scoreless first half and added three in the second half for the Yellow Jackets (4-3, 1-1 ODAC).

The Marlins (4-5, 2-0 ODAC) scored the game's lone goal in the 56th minute.

Three of R-MC four shots were on goal. Freshman TaylorAnne Barry (Earlysville, Va./St. Anne's Belfield) led the Yellow Jackets with two shots, including one on goal.

Randolph-Macon returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 2 p.m. for an ODAC contest against Roanoke.
