GREENSBORO, N.C.— Freshman Seth Manis (Boydton, Va. / Blessed Sacrament Huguenot Academy) found the back of the net in the 32nd minute and registered two assists as the Randolph-Macon men's soccer team shutout Guilford 4-0 in ODAC action Saturday evening.

All four of R-MC's goals were scored in the first period. Manis found senior Logan McHugh (Aberdeen, Md. / West Nottingham Academy) who scored from long range in the ninth minute to give the Yellow Jackets (7-5, 3-2 ODAC) an early 1-0 lead over the Quakers (5-6, 2-3 ODAC). Junior Tyler Slayton (Mechanicsville, Va. / Hanover) scored on a free kick in the 27th minute with help from Manis and freshman Diego Tacaraya (Woodbridge, Va. / C.D. Hylton).

After registering assists on the first two goals, Manis notched a goal for himself in the 32nd minute off a pass from the left side from Tacaraya. Logan McHugh found senior Anthony Polakiewicz (South Hill, Va. / Park View) in the 42nd minute to give R-MC the 4-0 victory.

The Yellow Jackets recorded 14 shots, 10 of which were on goal. Logan McHugh led the team in shots with four and junior Jack Maxey (Salem, Va. / Salem) added two shots, both of which were on goal.

Freshman goalkeeper Brian Breslin (Fairfax, Va. / W.T. Woodson) saved the Quakers' lone shot on goal. 

The Yellow Jackets return to action at home on Wednesday, October 14 at 4:30pm for an ODAC contest against Virginia Wesleyan.
