ASHLAND, Va. – Junior Elizabeth Blanco (Ashburn, Va./Stone Bridge) recorded five saves as the Randolph-Macon women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 ODAC decision to Shenandoah Wednesday afternoon in a match that was played in a steady rain.

Blanco played the first 62:37 for the Yellow Jackets (4-2-1, 1-1 ODAC), while sophomore Hannah Moyer (Richmond, Va./Deep Run) played the final 27:23 and registered one save.

The Hornets (3-5-1, 3-0 ODAC) snapped the scoreless tie with a goal in the 42nd minute as the visitors took a 1-0 lead at intermission. SU added an insurance goal 25 seconds into the second half.

Senior Jen LaBarge (Gambrills, Md./South River) had three of R-MC's eight shots, including both shots on goal. Senior Harley Marrocco (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) had a pair of shots for the Yellow Jackets.

Randolph-Macon continues ODAC play on Saturday, Sept. 27, with a 3 p.m. contest at Roanoke.
