EMORY, Va. - Freshman Erin Quinn (Morrisville, N.C./Cardinal Gibbons) posted 22 assists as Randolph-Macon took a three-game ODAC volleyball victory at Emory & Henry Saturday afternoon.

The Yellow Jackets (10-6, 3-0 ODAC) pulled out a 25-23 victory in Game 1, 25-20 in the second game and 25-22 in the final game.

The Wasps (8-6, 1-2)  built an 18-9 lead in the opening game before R-MC closed on a 16-5 run to claim the 25-23 win.

Game 2 was tied at 9 before the Yellow Jackets posted seven straight points to take a 16-9 advantage. E&H pulled within three at 21-18 before R-MC scored four of the final six points to take the 25-20 victory.

R-MC jumped out to a 10-5 lead in the third game before E&H closed to within two at 17-15. The lead for the Yellow Jackets narrowed to one at 22-21 before R-MC scored three of the final four points to secure the match.

Junior Courtney Lowers (Suffolk, Va./Nansemond River) had 12 kills, 34 total attacks and 18 digs to pace R-MC. Freshman Samantha Sallade (Newport News, Va./Peninsula Catholic) had 14 digs. Senior Bailey Troia (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes) recorded 10 assists.

The Yellow Jackets remain on the road, playing at Lynchburg on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. in ODAC action.
