FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Randolph-Macon suffered its first loss of the season, a 1-0 decision at Mary Washington in women's soccer Wednesday afternoon.

Four of the five shots for the Yellow Jackets (4-1) were on goal. All the shots for R-MC came in the fiest half. Both teams finished with five shots and three corner kicks.

The Eagles (5-1-1) scored in the 23rd minute for the game's lone goal.

Junior goalkeeper Elizabeth Blanco (Ashburn, Va./Stone Bridge) recorded one save for the Yellow Jackets.

The Yellow Jackets return to action on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 12 noon at home against St. Mary's.
