WINCHESTER, Va. – The Randolph-Macon men's tennis team won its sixth straight match by blanking Shenandoah in ODAC action Saturday.

The Yellow Jackets (10-6, 6-2) did not lose a set in the match. Four players recorded a pair of victories.

Junior Ryan Byrd (Toano, Va./Warhill) won at No. 1 singles and teamed with senior Michael Baxter (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) to take No. 1 doubles. Baxter was also victorious at No. 3 singles.

Junior Connor Hoerr (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) lost just two games in winning at No. 2 singles. He partnered with junior Ira Usry (Columbia, S.C./Hammond) to take No. 3 doubles.

Sophomore John Adam (Vienna, Va./James Madison) captured No. 4 singles and combined with freshman Brantley Stein (Virginia Beach, Va./Norfolk Academy) to win No. 2 doubles.

Sophomore Tom Lewis (Charlottesville, Va./Western Albemarle) won at No. 5 singles and freshman Matthew Coyne (Stafford, Va./Stafford Senior) was victorious at No. 6 singles.

R-MC returns to action on Monday, April 14 at 4 p.m. for a home ODAC match against Guilford at the Banks Tennis Center.
