HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. – Sophomore John Adam (Vienna, Va./James Madison) and junior Ryan Byrd (Toano, Va./Warhill) both posted a pair of wins as the Randolph-Macon men's tennis team topped Hampden-Sydney 6-3 Thursday afternoon in ODAC action for its fourth consecutive win.

After going 2-1 in doubles, the Yellow Jackets (8-6, 4-2) won four of six singles matches. Byrd earned a victory at No. 1 singles (6-2, 7-6) and at No. 1 doubles (8-5). Adam picked up close wins at No. 4 singles (7-6, 7-5) and at No. 2 doubles (9-7). 

Junior Connor Hoerr (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) registered a win at No. 2 singles (7-5, 6-3) and junior Ira Usry (Columbia, S.C./Hammond) recorded a victory at No. 6 singles (6-2, 6-2).

The Yellow Jackets stay on the road for a 3:30 p.m. ODAC match at Randolph on Friday, April 11.
