ASHLAND, Va. – Senior Olayemisi Ogunshina (Baltimore, Md./Wilde Lake) registered two wins and did not allow an opponent point as Randolph-Macon defeated Harford Community College 8-1 in women's tennis Monday afternoon at the Banks Tennis Center.
Ogunshina won 8-0 at No. 2 doubles and 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.
Four freshmen also recorded a pair of wins in the match, including Kelsie Grice (Hoover, Ala./Charlotte Country Day), Molly Jesseman (Williamsburg, Va./Warhill), Toni McDonald (Richmond, Va./Varina) and Melissa Tomlin (Prince George, Va./Prince George).
The Yellow Jackets (5-2) have won three straight matches and four of their past five.
R-MC hosts Guilford on Sunday at 2 p.m. in an ODAC match.
