ASHLAND, Va. – Following a scoreless first half, the Randolph-Macon women's soccer team fell to Washington and Lee 3-0 in ODAC action Saturday afternoon.

The Yellow Jackets (9-6-1, 6-5 ODAC) were strong in the first half, going into halftime tied 0-0.  The Generals (12-1-1, 10-1 ODAC) broke the tie in the 70th minute with a goal from Tricia Jessee, who also contributed a second goal in the 72nd minute to put the game out of reach.

Senior midfielder Jen LaBarge (Gambrills, Md. / South River) led the way for Randolph-Macon with one shot and one shot on goal.

Junior Elizabeth Blanco (Ashburn, VA / Stone Bridge) was in goal for the Yellow Jackets and recorded seven saves.

The women's soccer team with finish its regular season with a home game on Tuesday, Oct. 28 against Virginia Wesleyan.
