LYNCHBURG, Va. – Junior Erin Dziedzina (Etters, Pa./Red Land) snapped a 1-1 tie with her first goal of the season in the 73rd minute as Randolph-Macon nipped Randolph 2-1 Wednesday evening in ODAC women's soccer action.

Freshman Kasey Martino (Centreville, Va.) tallied her third goal of the season in the 13th minute on an assist by senior Jen LaBarge (Gambrills, Md./South River) as the Yellow Jackets (7-5-1, 4-4 ODAC) took an early lead. The Wildcats (4-10, 1-8 ODAC) knotted the score with a goal in the 37th minute to make it 1-1 at the half.

R-MC held an 18-3 advantage in shots. Dziedzina led the Yellow Jackets with five shots, including three on goal. Martino and LaBarge each had three shots, all on goal, for the victors.

Randolph-Macon returns home for an ODAC contest on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. against Sweet Briar.
