ATLANTA, Georgia—The Yellow Jacket volleyball team fell this evening after taking nationally ranked Emory University into five sets for the second time this season. The Eagles (16-1) left the match with the 3-2 victory (26-24, 25-10, 25-18, 25-20, 15-11).

Sophomore Addie Cooper (Virginia Beach, VA / Cape Henry Collegiate) had 12 kills on 38 attempts alongside Courtney Lowers (Suffolk, VA / Nasmond River) who also finished with 12 kills on 40 attempts. Riley Martin (Crozet, VA / Western Albemarle) had a game-high 26 assists while junior Bailey Troia (Virginia Beach, VA / Ocean Lakes) added 19 assists.

Senior Marli Dabareiner (Hardy, VA / North Cross) tallied 27 digs while fellow senior Tori Puryear (Madison, VA / Madison County) had 7 blocks.

Randolph-Macon (10-6, 4-1 ODAC) is slotted to face Lynchburg College Saturday at 12:00 PM.
