ASHLAND, Va.—The Randolph-Macon volleyball team advanced to 4-1 in the ODAC and 10-4 overall following this evening's 3-0 win over Bridgewater College.

The Jackets won in three straight sets as sophomore Courtney Lowers (Suffolk, VA/Nasmond River) had a game-high 13 kills on 24 attempts (.542) and no errors. Senior Hillary Jessee (Warm Springs, VA/Bath County) added 9 kills of her own.

The R-MC points were supported by sophomore Riley Martin (Crozet, VA/Western Albemarle) who tallied 29 of the team's 30 assists. Marli Dabareiner (Hardy, VA/North Cross) had a game-high 9 digs while fellow senior Tori Puryear (Madison, VA/Madison County) blocked 6 Eagle attempts.

The Eagles (6-10, 0-5 ODAC) were out-blocked 10.5-2 and had 34 total errors against R-MC's 9 errors.

The Yellow Jackets travel to Atlanta, Georgia this weekend to participate in the Emory Invitational. They are slotted the face Cornell College Friday 27 at 2:30 PM.
