Box Score FREDERICKSBURG, Va.—Freshman midfielder Ellie Linkous
(Charlottesville, VA/Monticello) scored both of Randolph-Macon's
goals in this afternoon's 4-2 loss against the Mary Washington
women's soccer team.
Linkous captured the first goal of the day 4:00 into the game.
Her goal was assisted by sophomore Erin Dziedzina
(Etters, PA/Red Land). Going into the half and trailing 2-1,
Linkous scored the second Jackets' goal (unassisted) for the tie.
However, the Eagles (4-4, 0-0 CAC) added 2 more goals in the second
period. Linkous finished the day with 3 shots, 2 on-goal.
Keeper Elizabeth
Blanco (Ashburn, VA/Stone Bridge) had 11 saves while fellow
sophomore Bridget Panas
(Goochland, VA/Goochland) also tallied 3 shots.
