SALEM, Va.—The Randolph-Macon volleyball team captured another ODAC win Tuesday evening against Roanoke College 3-0 (26-24, 25-14, 25-22).

The Maroons (8-5, 2-2 ODAC) lost the first set by the slimmest of margins (26-24) as the Yellow Jackets (9-4, 3-1 ODAC) refused to fall early. Sophomore outside hitter Courtney Lowers (Suffolk, VA/Nasmond River) led the team with 10 kills on 37 attempts. Middle hitter Katie Rossberg (Crozet, VA/Western Albemarle) added 9 kills with 25 attacks. Senior Joelle Gross (Christiansburg, VA/Auburn) and sophomore Riley Martin (Crozet, VA/Western Albemarle) had 2 aces respectively.

The Jacket points were supported by 16 assists from Bailey Troia (Virginia Beach, VA/Ocean Lakes) alongside Martin who tallied 13 of her own.

The R-MC defense out-blocked the Maroons 14 blocks to 9 while senior Marli Dabareiner (Hardy, VA/North Cross) tied for a game-high 21 digs.

The Jackets return to Crenshaw Gymnasium on Sept. 25 against Bridgewater College at 7:00 PM
