Box Score ASHLAND, Va.—Three goals lifted the Randolph-Macon women's
soccer team over the Quakers of Guilford College this afternoon.
The victory marked R-MC's first conference win of the season.
Sophomore forward Bridget Panas
(Goochland, VA) led the match and the afternoon with the first two
2 goals in the first period. Both goals were assisted by Katherine
Schwalen (Currituck, NC). Panas finished the day with 5 shots,
3 of which on-goal. Erin Dziedzina (Etters, PA) scored the third
goal of the period.
The Yellow Jackets (3-2, 1-0 ODAC) out-shot the Quakers (0-7,
0-1 ODAC) 15-3, 9 shots-on-goal to 1. Goal keeper Elizabeth
Blanco (Ashburn, VA) tallied 1 save on the day.
The Jackets return to conference-play Wednesday 9/18 at 4:15 PM
to host Lynchburg College.
