ASHLAND, Va.--Randolph-Macon came into its second match of the day with momentum that continued through three straight sets (25-10, 25-10, 25-12) against the Seahawks of St. Mary's College Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Katie Rossberg (Crozet, VA) had double-digit kills (11) and hit .364. Middle hitter Tori Puryear (Madison, VA) added 7 kills on 0 errors alongside 5 kills from sophomore Addie Cooper (VA Beach, VA) while setter Bailey Troia (VA Beach, VA) finished the day with 20 assists to help pull R-MC to victory. Libero Marli Dabareiner (Hardy, VA) led all three decisions with 11 total digs.

The Jackets (2-0) finished with a .338 hitting percentage and outblocked the Seahawks (1-1) 9.5 to 5.

Randolph-Macon will move on to play Mary Washington Wednesday Sep. 4 at 7:00 PM in Fredericksburg.
