Box Score WESTMINSTER, Md. – Junior midfielder Catherine Pricone (Arlington, Va./Washington-Lee) scored twice to raise her weekend goal total to seven, but Randolph-Macon dropped a 4-3 decision in double overtime at McDaniel.
Pricone scored 17:24 into the contest to knot the score at 1. Her goal 17 minutes into the second half tied the game at 2-2. Pricone scored all five goals for the Jackets (1-1) in a 5-4 victory over York on Friday, giving her the team's first seven goals of the season.
Senior back Olivia Newman (Orange, Va./Orange County) scored with 5:30 left in the contest to even the score at 3-3. The Green Terror (1-0) tallied the game-winner in the second overtime.
Senior forward Lauren Seal (Orange, Va./Orange County), Rachael Gardner (Rapidan, Va./Orange County) and junior back Carrie Jacobs (Orange, Va./Orange County) each registered assists for R-MC.
Senior goalkeeper Steph Talley (Bordentown, N.J./Bordentown Regional) recorded 10 saves for the Jackets.
Randolph-Macon will play in Frostburg State's Tournament this weekend, facing Transylvania on Friday, Sept. 7, at 2 p.m.
