R-MC (15-9 / 10-5 ODAC) had four players in double-figures led by Lamar Giggetts with 17 on the evening.    Fellow starters Dylan Cole and Andre Simon each had 10 points.  Akeem Holmes came off the bench to score 13 points in just 18 minutes of action. 

The Yellow Jackets won the rebounding battle 41-32, led by Cole's nine boards. Holmes had eight, while Simon and Connor Sullivan each grabbed seven rebounds as well.

Randolph-Macon got out to a quick start, jumping out to a 23-6 advantage when Joe Hassell made a layup nine minutes into the game.

SU (3-21 / 0-15 ODAC) scored 16 of the final 25 points of the half to send the teams to the locker room with R-MC leading 32-22.

Shenandoah cut the R-MC lead to eight points when Eli McEathron opened the second-half scoring to make it 32-24.

With the score 38-29, R-MC would go on a 15-8 run, taking a 53-37 advantage when Giggetts knocked down a jumper with 9:41 to play.

SU would trim the lead to 57-44 following a Sharif Almulla bucket with 7:21 remaining on the clock.

A three-point play by Holmes next time down the court sparked what would prove to be a game-sealing 18-2 run that was capped by a Trent Walker layup to extend the Jackets lead to 27 points with four minutes to go.

Randolph-Macon made 29-of-66 (43.1%) shots on the night, while Shenandoah shot 39.2% from the field, making 20-of-51 shots in the loss.

Randolph-Macon will close out the regular season when it hosts Randolph at 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
