Box Score WINCHESTER, Va.—In what would ultimately decide the #2
seed for the ODAC Tournament, the Randolph-Macon field hockey team
was downed 4-1 by Shenandoah in their final regular season
game.
Two minutes into match-play, senior Lauren Seal (Orange, VA /
Orange County) scored the Jackets lone goal to give R-MC the 1-0
edge. She finished the day with 4 shots, 2 SOG. Seal's goal was
assisted by fellow senior Jenna Marlette
(Fairfax, VA / Chantilly) who also nabbed a defensive save. The
Hornets (10-9, 6-2) would follow the second period, however, with 4
goals to clinch the #2 regular season seed.

Jacobs (Orange, VA / Orange County) recorded 8 shots and 4 SOG
alongside Olivia
Newman (Orange, VA / Orange County) who tallied 3 shots. Senior
goalkeeper Steph
Talley (Bordentown, NJ / Bordentown Regional) had 2 saves on
the day.
The Randolph-Macon field hockey team finished their regular
season 9-9, 6-2 ODAC. The #3 seed will return home Saturday,
November 2 to face the #6 seed Washington & Lee in the ODAC
Tournament Quarterfinals. The winner of that game will travel to
Winchester to take on the #2 Shenandoah Hornets in the
semifinals.
