Box Score ASHLAND, VA – The 11th ranked Cardinals of Catholic University got a goal and an assist from Rebecca Lukaszczyk as CUA topped Randolph-Macon 3-0 Wednesday afternoon in field hockey action in Ashland.
Catholic (2-0) also got goals from Colleen Harwood and Taylor Elliott in the victory to improve to 2-0 on the season, while R-MC drops to 0-3 on the young year.
Randolph-Macon (0-3) goalkeeper Nicole Woodworth kept the Cardinals from doing further damage, by turning away 20 CUA shots on the afternoon.
Randolph-Macon will be back in action on September 12th when it hosts Mary Washington at 4:00 p.m.
