Box Score ASHLAND, VA -- Randolph-Macon fashioned six players in double-figures as the Yellow Jackets knocked off ODAC rival Roanoke 110-72 Saturday afternoon in Ashland.
R-MC, which has now won 14 of its last 15 games, improves to 19-4 overall and 12-3 in the league. Dylan Cole led the way with a career-high 19 points on 8-of-9 shooting from the floor. Calvin Croskey had 17, while fellow starter Lamar Giggetts had 13 points.
Jamie Robinson and Connor Sullivan each came off the bench to score 16 points, while Andre Simon had 10, helping the R-MC reserves out socre the RC bench 57-28.
Marcus Badger dished out a career-high 10 assists, which is the most by a Yellow Jacket since Justin Moyer had 10 in a win over Washington and Lee in 2004. Trent Walker also had seven helpers as well. For the day, Randolph-Macon assisted on 29 of its 40 made field goals, helping the Jackets shot 58% in the win.
After a Logan Singleton three-pointer gave RC an early 3-2 lead, R-MC put together a 22-2 run, taking a 24-5 lead after two Simon free-throws. R-MC would lead 60-30 and never look back en route to victory.
RC (6-17 / 2-12) got 17 points from Singleton and 16 from Kwasi Amponsah.
Randolph-Macon will host Ferrum on Wednesday evening in non-conference action. Tip is set for 7:00 p.m. Prior to the game, R-MC will honor Croskey and fellow senior Adam Desgain.
