Box Score ASHLAND, VA – The Randolph-Macon women's soccer team ended the 2012-13 regular season with a 2-1 loss to Roanoke College on Tuesday afternoon. The women ended the season 8-8 overall and 7-5 in ODAC play.
Roanoke had the chance to take an early lead when Rebekah Adams was awarded a penalty corner, but it was denied by Elizabeth Blanco to keep the Maroons off the board.
On a corner kick taken six minutes later by Carmen Graves, Adams connected with the back of the net to give the Maroons the 1-0 lead.
R-MC scored less than four minutes later when Erin Hauser's shot soared passed the Roanoke goalie off a corner kick taken by Lindsey Hall.
Hauser is now tied for third in the ODAC in goals with 14 and fourth in points with 34. Hall is tied for first on the team with 6 assists.
Roanoke took the lead back with 10 minutes left in the match when Adams connected with Lauren O'Brien.
Blanco took the loss in goal for the Yellow Jackets, recording a career high 15 saves on the afternoon.
The women return to action on October 27th for the 2012-13 ODAC Tournament.
