ASHLAND, VA -- Washington & Lee topped Randolph-Macon, 1-0 Saturday afternoon on a early second half goal by Katherine Rush.  The Yellow Jackets fall to 7-3-0 in the ODAC, while the Generals improve to 7-3-1.

W&L controlled the first half registering 6 shots to the Yellow Jackets two, but neither team could capitalize.

Five minutes into the second half, the Generals took the lead when Katie Rossi's deflected shot found a waiting Rush who tapped it in.

Erin Hauser gave the R-MC its best opportunity of the afternoon when she was denied from the left side of the box.

Washington & Lee held a 10-7 advantage in shots, including a 5-3 edge in shots on goal. 

Addie Healy picked up her eighth victory of the season in goal for the visitors, recording three saves on the day.  Briana Housekeeper recorded four stops for Randolph-Macon, but fell to 8-6 on the year.

The women close out the 2012-13 regular season as they travel to Roanoke College on Tuesday. Game time is set for a 4:00 p.m. start.
