Box Score LYNCHBURG, VA – Randolph-Macon College's Mallory Carter became the school's all-time leader in career kills as the Yellow Jackets topped ODAC rival Lynchburg, 3-1, Wednesday evening.
Carter put away 13 winners on the evening to surpass Maggie McDearmon (2003-06) as the school's all-time leader. Carter got help on the offensive end from Courtney Lowers who put away a career-high 15 kills. Tori Puryear and Jessica Sears each had nine in the win.
Defensively, Carter was one of four Yellow Jackets in double-figure digs with 13. Marli Dabareiner had 15 stops, while Sears and Riley Martin had 14 and 11 stops, respectively.
Martin had 26 assists on the night to lead R-MC, while fellow setter Bailey Troia added 22 helpers in the win.
