Randolph-Macon Softball improved to 11-5 in the ODAC after defeating Emory and Henry 3-0 and 12-0 in Ashland Saturday. R-MC secures it's fourth 20 win season in the past five years with a 21-7 overall record.

Laura Bauer paced the Jackets' offense with a 3-for-5 day that included two homeruns and four RBI. Lauryn Nanny had a triple, a single and two RBI in game two.

Brandi Wilson scattered seven hits and struck out six to pick up the game one win. Kristen Dize allowed just four hits over the first three innings of game two to earn her tenth win of the season. Heather Lewis struck out two and did not allow a base runner in the final two innings.

Jenae Morrissey had the only multi-hit game for the Wasps going 2-for-3 in game one. Veronica had E&H's only extra base hit of the afternoon with a game two double.

Jennifer True is stuck with the game one loss after allowing three earned over six innings while striking out five. Sierra Water gave up three earned (nine unearned) over the first two innings in a losing game two effort.

Bauer broke a scoreless tie in the second inning of game two when she blasted a solo homerun.

Alex Gregoire scored on a wild pitch in the third to extend the R-MC lead to 2-0 before Paige Smith plated Morgan Greene with a double.

Wilson and the Randolph-Macon defense held the Emory and Henry offense in check before Lewis retired the final two batters for the save to secure the 3-0 victory.

The Yellow Jackets got off to a hot start in game two, pushing across ten runs on seven hits and three E&H errors. Smith drove in a run with a double to start the inning before Bauer belted a two run shot. RBI singles from Nanny, Greene, Michalann Camp and Bauer added to the ten run rally.

R-MC added two more in the second on a Nanny triple that plated McCauley before scoring on another Emory & Henry error. The Yellow Jackets silenced the Wasps' bats over the final inning to claim the 12-0 victory.
