With the score tied at 58-58, Eric Pugh drained a three pointer with 59 seconds remaining to put the Yellow Jackets up by three.

On H-SC's ensuing possession, Harrison George scored two of his game-high 25 points to pull the Tigers within one point with 45 seconds on the clock.

The Tigers then fouled, R-MC missed both free-throws, giving the ball back to H-SC with 10 seconds to go in the game.

Out of a time out, R-MC had a foul to give and used it with three seconds to go. Ben Jesse was able to get off a shot for the Tigers off the inbound pass but it fell short, giving R-MC the victory.

The Yellow Jackets had opened up a 19 point lead in the first half on the strength of a 16-5 run midway through the opening stanza that was capped by a Calvin Croskey three-pointer that pushed the R-MC lead to 39-20 with just under four minutes to go.

The Tigers used a 10-2 run to close the half, cutting their deficit to 41-30 at the intermission.

The Yellow Jackets maintained a double-digit lead in the opening minutes of the half when a Pugh three-pointer put R-MC out in front 47-36 with just over 13 minutes to play in the game.

H-SC then scored 14 of the next 17 points over the next six minutes, tying the game at 50-50 on a Jesse bucket with just under eight minutes to go.

R-MC's Kevin Voelkel put the Jackets back out in front 52-50 with a jumper on R-MC's next possession with 7:34 to play.
