Box Score 2 ROANOKE, VA – The Randolph-Macon College Volleyball team improved to 18-4 overall and 8-1 in the ODAC with a pair of road wins on Saturday. R-MC knocked off Roanoke 3-1 in the morning and wrapped up the day with a 3-0 at Hollins.
In the win over Roanoke, Mallory Carter and Jessica Sears combined for 32 kills to lead the offensive attack. Carter had a match-high 17 kills, while Sears had 15. Tori Puryear and Mallory Jameshad seven and six kills respectively, while Bailey Troia recorded 45 assists in the match as well.
Libero Marli Dabareiner led four players with double-digit digs with 18. Carter had 13 stops, Sears had 12 and Troia had 11.
Carter and Sears again led the way for R-MC in the victory over HU. Carter again led all players with 12 kills, while Sears had 11. Troia and Maggie Holbert split time at setter with 26 and 12 digs, respectively.
Dabareiner had 15 digs to go along with 10 by Carter. Joelle Gross and Sears each had eight digs for R-MC in the win.
The Yellow Jackets will be off until Wednesday when they host Lynchburg at 7:00 p.m. in a key ODAC match up.
