Box Score LEXINGTON, Va--- Randolph Macon lost to Washington and Lee, 3-0 in women's soccer action Saturday afternoon. The women fell to 7-5-1, 5-3 in the ODAC, while the Generals improved to 10-2-2, 6-1-2.
Heather Deisher got W&L on the board first, scoring on a header off a corner from Ainsley Daigle in the 19th minute. Emily Scott pushed the Generals' advantage to two goals with seven minutes remaining in the first half when she found the back of the net off a cross from Madeline Forrestel.
Julia Lancaster scored the final goal of the day for Washington and Lee in the 80th minute to give the final score.
Holley Beasley and Lancaster paced the Generals with three shots each. Ashley Stover recorded the only shot of the day for the Yellow Jackets.
Sam Hobe took the loss in goal for R-MC, playing the entire first half and picking up two saves on the afternoon. Charlotte Horne played the second stanza, totaling three saves. Emily Leary took home the win for Washington and Lee.
R-MC's next game is Wednesday, October 19th when they play host to top ranked Lynchburg. Game-time is scheduled for a 4:15 p.m. start.
