Box Score 2 ASHLAND, VA – The
Randolph-Macon Volleyball team improved its record to 3-0 on the
season with wins over NC Wesleyan and St. Mary's of Maryland
Saturday afternoon in Ashland.
R-MC opened the day with a 3-0
victory over the Sea Hawks, winning by game scores of 25-17, 25-16
and 25-12. The Jackets were paced by Jessica Sears
with eight kills, while Raena Winton and
Mallory
Carter each had seven kills in the win. Courtney
Anderson led R-MC with 14 assists and Sam Block dished out
13 helpers. Marli
Dabareiner led the defensive effort with 10 digs, while Carter
and Sears had eight digs each.
In the 25-14, 25-22, 25-14 win over
NCWC, Winton and Sears led R-MC with 13 and 10 kills, respectively.
Anderson had 21 assists to go along with 19 from Block. Sears also
notched 18 digs to go along with 10 digs from Dabareiner led and
seven stops from Caroline
Brown.
Randolph-Macon will be back in
action on Wednesday when it hosts Mary Washington at 7:00 p.m.
