Box Score 2 ASHLAND, VA – The Randolph-Macon volleyball team improved
to 11-0 on the season with ODAC wins over Emory & Henry and
Roanoke over the weekend.
R-MC (11-0 / 3-0 ODAC) topped E&H 3-0 on Friday 25-9, 25-16,
25-22. Mallory Carter
led R-MC with seven kills, while Mallory James had
six and Jessica Sears and
Hillary Jesse each had four. Sam Block directed
the offense with 11 assists and Courtney
Anderson had 10 helpers. Block also had five aces. Tori Puryear
had five blocks to go along with four from James and three from Casey West.
In a 25-15, 25-17, 25-8 win over Roanoke on Saturday, Raena Winton had a
team-best 15 kills, while Sears reached double-digits with 10
kills. Anderson and Block had 21 and 16 assists, respectively.
Puryear registered four blocks, while Marli
Dabareiner led the way 13 digs, while Sears had nine and Carter
added seven stops.
Randolph-Macon will be back in action on Tuesday when it travels
to ODAC rival Washington and Lee for a 7:00 p.m. match.
