Amanda Nelms' goal just two minutes into the game would prove to be the game winner as Randolph-Macon Women's Soccer (4-2 / 1-0 ODAC) defeated Hollins University 1-0 in Roanoke Saturday.

Erin Hauser dished to an open Amanda Nelms who booted the ball into the back of the net just two minutes and five seconds into the contest.

The Yellow Jackets fired 31 shots during the game, including 18 on goal but Hollins' keeper Kristen Norkus made 17 saves.

Randolph-Macon goalie China Bradley preserved the narrow advantage by stopping all seven of Hollins' shots on goal.

 R-MC also edged HU 13-6 in corner kick opportunities.

The Yellow Jackets will be back in action Wednesday, September 22^nd when they travel to Eastern Mennonite for a 4:00 ODAC match.
