Box Score BRIDGEWATER, VA – The Randolph-Macon College Volleyball
team opened up its ODAC slate of matches with a 3-1 victory over
Bridgewater on the road Wednesday evening.
R-MC (9-0 / 1-0 ODAC) dropped the first game by a score of 20-25
but rebounded to win the next three, 25-21, 25-9 and 25-13.
The Yellow Jackets were paced by Jessica Sears and
Mallory
Carter who both had 16 kills in the win, while Raena Winton
chipped in with 12 kills as well. Courtney
Anderson had a career-high 28 assists on the night from
her setter position.
Defensively, Sears had 24 digs on the evening, Marli
Dabareiner added 21 stops and Carter registered 14 digs on the
night. Mallory James and
Victoria
Puryear both had a total of four blocks for R-MC.
Randolph-Macon will be back in action on Friday when it hosts
Emory & Henry at 6:00 p.m.
