Box Score 2 The Randolph-Macon volleyball team capped off the Greensboro
Invitational on Saturday with a 3-1 over the host Pride and 3-0
victory over ODAC rival Guilford. R-MC is now 8-0 on the
season.
In the 25-18, 18-25, 25-23, 25-16 win over the Pride, Jessica Sears had
a team-best 16 kills to go along with 18 digs defensively.
Setter Courtney Anderson posted 28 assists, while Sam Block added 18
helpers. Mallory Carter
also had 14 kills and 16 digs. Raena Winton
chipped in with 12 kills of her own, while Mallory James
totaled seven blocks in the match.
R-MC closed out the tournament with a 25-15, 25-19, 25-20 win
over Guilford. Carter tallied 12 kills and 11 digs.
Sears recorded nine kills and 10 stops defensively. Anderson
had 18 assists, while Block had 14 assists to go along with four
serving aces and six digs.
Randolph-Macon will open up its conference schedule on Wednesday
when it travels to Bridgewater for a 7:00 p.m. match.
